Turnkey Packaging Lines

At EPIC, we work together with manufacturers using our EPIC Turnkey Advantage to bring exceedingly capable packaging lines to your production facility. We responsibly handle all aspects of the project to transform individual machines into integrated packing lines through all phases of:

  • Packaging line evaluation - We start by evaluating the factors impacting their existing production lines or could affect your new packaging line. We also perform up-time and accumulation studies and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) studies.
  • Packaging line design - The design phase starts with preliminary design which uses Front-End Engineering to arrive at a basic line design. Detailed line design begins once a fixed bid is agreed upon.
  • Line Integration - Mechanically making your line fit together and transition to the right system is achieved through various custom machine adjustments and simple line engineering methods.
  • Line Controls - EPIC's in-house control engineers complete control system integration with either PLC or PC-based logic platform.
  • Packaging line installation - Your packaging line is fully installed in-plant at your manufacturing facility and re-tested.
  • Packaging line commissioning - Our group of engineers remain on-site through all aspects of production line start-up including validation, commissioning and checkout as well as turnover of all documentation to key plant personnel
